I was born and raised in Brooklyn, where I have lived my entire life, while enjoying weekends and summers at my family home in Morris, CT. As a result of the pandemic, I have been living full time in Morris since March of 2020. I have decided, along with my parents, to trade in the subway for the stables and move to our home in Morris permanently.
I enjoy singing, piano, horseback riding, dance, theater, photography, tennis and special effects make-up. I love all animals and have six cats!
I would like to attend a high school that can provide a strong academic education along with a well-rounded experience while allowing me to enjoy the beautiful country life!
I have been taking piano and voice lessons since I was seven years old. Here is a video of me performing "Someone You Loved," by Lewis Capaldi, for a 2020 year-end "zoom recital."
I love to dance! I took ballet for 8 years and was co-captain of the Brooklyn Friends School's dance team, "Panthers Supreme."
I enjoy musical theater as it gives me the opportunity to sing, dance and make people smile. For several summers I have participated in the Warner Theater Summer Performing Arts Program in Torrington, CT. My very first stage role was "Donkey" in Shrek Jr., The Musical. Throughout the years, I have also portrayed "Yun" in Mulan, and "Flotsam" in
The Little Mermaid.
I am currently enjoying pleasure riding two to three times per week at Halcyon Show Stables in Litchfield, CT. I hope to one day re-enter the world of competition, but for now I am just working on honing my jumping skills as that is the division I am most interested in.
These two videos are of me working on my jumping skills.
In 2016, I placed 8th in the Connecticut Horse Shows Association (CHSA) finals.
I have been playing tennis since I was
4 years old. I enjoy playing with my friends and taking lessons throughout the year with tennis pro Richard Makepeace
For my Bat-Mitzvah Project in 2020, I decided to partner with The Water Project to help bring clean, fresh water to the Jamulongoji Primary School in Western Kenya.
I started a fundraising campaign to raise enough money to build a rainwater catchment that can be put in place at the school to help provide clean, safe water for bathing, drinking, cooking, and cleaning.
I was able to raise $15,000 which funded the entire project! If you would like to see the project underway, please visit: https://thewaterproject.org/community/projects/kenya/rainwater-catchment-wash-project-20140
